Public Sector Innovation
Public Sector Innovation is where all aspects of Innovation in Government, Civil society and tech-enabled institutions intersect to create value. The PSI team aims to develop digital solutions, provide analysis, gather technical requirements, and finally structure technology and systems in institutions to prepare and gradually bring about change management in the public sector. The project supports the public sector through the development of tailored digital solutions. In close collaboration with RISA, the project manages digitalization requests from public institutions across all sectors and supports building a sustainable digital architecture using ICT building blocks.

GOV.RW
One multi-tenant content management system for all government of Rwanda websites and civil society agencies. On this project, there is one template for all ministries, one template for all districts and one template for all embassies with the intention to harmonize information and how the government communicates with citizens.

The user experience of citizens when accessing the government of Rwanda information is now harmonized, clean and simplified. For example, all content on the Ministry of Health Website is in the same place as content on the Ministry of ICT website, Ministry of Education and so on. Initially, every institution had its own design website, and this made it hard for citizens to navigate the different content bits and harder to maintain and manage security threats as well as phishing.
Gov.rw has onboarded 315 government of Rwanda and Public Sector websites, which are accessed by over 10,000 users a day.
Public Service Request Portal
A portal that serves the public servants of Rwanda implemented through the Ministry of public service (MIFOTRA).
The Public Service Request Portal is to provide clear visibility on the status of requests made to MIFOTRA by public servants
This includes ensuring that the requests made to MIFOTRA avail the requesters with information regarding the status of their respective requests. Furthermore, it aims to provide supplementary data to MIFOTRA highlighting and visualizing critical statistics on the requests processing rates versus the staffing and establishing how they are performing regarding the Standard Operating Procedures.
The Public Service Requests Portal aims to improve the efficiency of MIFOTRA when processing requests by at least 30%.
